Portable, colorful chairs are the latest addition to Harvard Yard, the result of a student survey on public spaces conducted at the behest of University President Drew Gilpin Faust last year. The chairs have proven popular, attracting heavy use on warm, early autumn days. Outdoor food vendors have also been set up outdoors near some of the chair clusters.
