Local activists for PETA – People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals – created quite a stir on the University campus Monday. Six protestors were arrested in this nearly-nude event.
It was staged as part of a global naked protest: “Rather Go Naked than Wear Fur.” Chants included “Fur, out! Love, in!”
Meanwhile, HLS animal-rights protests are still limited to Hark videos of circus elephants.
The deadline for cross-registration into undergraduate classes lapsed several weeks ago.
