According to The Crimson, Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia surprised the audience when he said in comments at the Harvard John F. Kennedy Jr. Forum last week that “I even take the position that sexual orgies eliminate social tensions and ought to be encouraged.” Responding to an inquiry by the New York Daily News, Supreme Court spokeswoman Kathy Arberg said that the quote was taken out of context and used to make a rhetorical point, not reveal a personal belief.
