Over the recent summer, Record News Editor Rebecca Agule lived in Juba, Sudan and interned with Pact-Sudan, a development NGO, working on human rights and local governance issues. Rebecca’s adventures included a night spent at the infamous Camp-15, a rebel Sudan People’s Liberation Army base; two threats of arrest; numerous blown out tires, and several encounters with the bat family who occupied her outhouse.
