On Monday, Governor Deval Patrick ’82 (D-MA) nominated Superior Court Judge Ralph Gants ’80 to the Supreme Judicial Court of Massachusetts, the state’s highest court and the oldest continuously functioning appellate court in the Western Hemisphere (1692).
Prior to his appointment to the Superior Court in 1997, Gants was an Assistant U.S. Attorney and a partner at Palmer and Dodge.
