3Ls John Lobato and Mary Ann Totino continued the Halloween fun at an after-party at the Hong Kong. They were two-thirds of a three-man costume, dressing as Mario and Princess Toadstool; David Wertime (not pictured) came as Luigi.
HLS Dean Elena Kagan presented 3L Christy Von der Ahe with an award for best Halloween costume. Von der Ahe channeled the character Ursula from Disney’s The Little Mermaid after spending three weeks constructing her outfit. Kagan, Dean of Students Ellen Cosgrove, and Professor Andrew Kaufman judged the costume contest.

On Tuesday, October 31, HLS hosted a Halloween Bash in Ropes Gray for 2Ls, 3Ls, and LLMs. With a live deejay, a few 1L crashers, and plenty of kegs, HLS students relieved the stress of flyout week (four-star hotels, Mexican resorts) by dressing up and getting down.
