Opera Review: Thais

The Boston Lyric Opera's season ended on a high note with a beautiful staging of Jules Massenet's Thais. It was great to see a French opera, which is often overshadowed by its Italian contemporaries. Earlier in the season, the BLO presented the tragic tale of a Parisian courtesan in La Traviata.
