Jay Cox, 2L, stepped down from the committee tasked with making recommendations about the First-Year Lawyering Program. Cox was ousted after a unanimous vote by the committee requested his resignation due to Cox’s membership on the Board of Student Advisors, the student group that currently supplies teaching assistants to the FYL program. The committe felt that it needed to be neutral in its decision making and the presence of a BSA member could impede that goal.
